ITHACA, N.Y. - ECAC Hockey announced its end of season awards on Friday as Dartmouth's Laura Stacey was named to the All-Rookie team at a banquet held as part of the 2013 ECAC Women's Hockey Championship weekend hosted by Cornell University.

During her first year in Hanover, Stacey scored eight goals and registered a team-high 14 assists. The Kleinburg, Ontario, native excelled in conference action netting five markers and picking up 11 helpers.

In 2012-13, the freshman forward appeared in 28 games for the Big Green and registered five multi-point games. She ended the regular season on a high note, scoring in three of the last six contests.

In early January, Stacey traveled to Fussin, Germany, to compete with the Canadian National Women's Under 22/Development Team in the 2013 Meco Cup. The 18 year-old winger scored a goal in the championship game against Russia, as she helped lead her country to Gold.

The second-line forward was also announced as a finalist for the Rookie of the Year award earlier in the week.

Joining Stacey on the All-Rookie team were Rensselaer forward Alexa Gruschow, St. Lawrence forward Abbey McRae, Clarkson defenseman Erin Ambrose, Cornell defenseman Cassandra Poudrier and Harvard goaltender Emerance Maschmeyer.
