HANOVER, N.H. - Fox College Sports has announced that the Dartmouth women's hockey game against No. 2 Harvard on Friday, Feb. 1 has been added to its slate of nationally-broadcast match-ups.

The Ivy League and ECAC Hockey showdown at Thompson Arena will be broadcast live as part of the network's schedule that continues its growing coverage of college athletics.

Game time will remain unchanged with the addition of Fox College Sports' coverage with puck drop set for 7 p.m.

This is the first time the Big Green will play in front of a national audience since March 5, 2011, when they fell to Cornell, 3-0, in the ECAC Hockey Women's Championship Game on the NHL Network.

The Green and White and the Crimson have a storied rivalry with the team from the Upper Valley holding the series lead 44-38-3.

The game proves to be entertaining as the two programs rank in the top-three in the conference in goals-per game (Harvard 4.06, Dartmouth 3.20) and penalty kill success rate (Harvard 96.6, Dartmouth 86.7).

Harvard took the earlier match-up between the two teams in Cambridge on Nov. 30.

Currently, the Big Green have a record of 12-5-3 overall, while 7-4-2 in ECAC Hockey action and 4-2-0 in Ivy league play.

Before taking on the Crimson, the team is in action on the road this weekend. It travels to the North Country to take on St. Lawrence and No. 7 Clarkson Friday and Saturday.
