Fischer Headlines Dartmouth's ECAC Hockey Honorees

ITHACA, N.Y. — ECAC Hockey announced its end of the season awards on Thursday and senior Reagan Fischer (Irma, Alberta) earned the Co-Best Defensive Forward honor, junior Sasha Nanji (Markham, Ontario) was named second-team All-ECAC and senior Kelly Foley (South Boston, Mass.) was named third-team All-ECAC.

Fischer shares the Best Defensive Foward honor with Chelsea Karpenko of Cornell. Fischer earned the award last season in a tie with Karlee Overguard of Cornell. This season, Fischer played in all 30 games. She finished third on the team with 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points. The point total marked a new career high, besting her previous high of 28 set last season. She also had three power-play goals, four game-winning goals, one shorthanded goal and one game-tying goal. She was second on the team in plus/minus at +26.

In her third season, Nanji, the team's top defenseman, played in all 30 games. She had 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points, which put her fourth on the team. She had two power-play goals and three game-winning goals. She led all Big Green defensemen with a plus/minus of +22. She moved into ninth on Dartmouth's all-time goals list by a defenseman with 32, and moved to 10th in points by a defenseman with 73. Nanji was third-team All-ECAC last season.

Foley finished her career, playing in 30 games for the Big Green this season. She recorded a team-high 16 goals and had 18 assists for 34 points. She had two power-play goals and one game-winning goal. She has a plus/minus of +23. She became the 33rd player in the program's history to record 100 career points and finished her career with 54 goals and 47 assists for 101 points. Last season, Foley was second-team All-ECAC.
