HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's hockey team plays its final regular season game today at 4 p.m. when it hosts Brown. The Big Green still don't know if they will host a first-round series, and will need a little help to secure the fourth seed.

Here are the scenarios provided by the ECAC Hockey League Office.

Dartmouth (vs Brown) -
Seeded 4th with a win, a St. Lawrence loss, and a Clarkson win or tie (vs #5 St. Lawrence).
Seeded 5th with a win, a St. Lawrence loss, and a Clarkson loss (at #4 Clarkson).
Seeded 5th with a win and a St. Lawrence win or tie (at #4 Clarkson or #4 St. Lawrence).
Seeded 5th with a loss or a tie (at #4 Clarkson or #4 St. Lawrence).

Basically, the only way the Big Green will host next week is if they defeat Brown, St. Lawrence loses at Cornell and Clarkson wins at Colgate. The Saints lost at home to the Big Red on Jan. 27, 6-4. Clarkson beat Colgate at home, 4-1, on Jan. 27.

The Big Green can do no worse than the fifth seed.
