HANOVER, N.H. – Head coach Mark Hudak and the Dartmouth women’s hockey team have announced the addition of a pair of regular admit recruits to the Class of 2017. Emma Korbs and Robyn Chemago have each handed in their intent to enroll cards and are excited to become members of the Big Green next season.
Korbs and Chemago both come to Hanvoer from north of the border and join a touted incoming group of student-athletes.
Emma Korbs: Defense: from Toronto, Ontario. Attends Malvern Collegiate Institute and plays for the Toronto Aeros of the PWHL. While with the Aeros her team has won a regular season title and earned silver at the Provincial and PWHL League Championship. Represented Team Ontario at the U18 National Championships in 2011 and 2012. Korbs was also a member of the Canadian 2011 U18 National Team.
Robyn Chemago: Goalie: from Slave Lake, Alberta. Attends Roland Michener Secondary School and plays for Slave Lake Midget Boys AA. Represented Team Alberta at the U18 National Championships in 2011 and 2012. Has attended Hockey Canada U18 Selection Camp and the Hockey Canada National Goaltending Camp.
In total, Dartmouth has seven incoming players. The newcomers look to follow in the footsteps of the Class of 2016 with successful freshman campaigns.
