HANOVER, N.H. - Junior Lindsay Holdcroft was named ECAC Hockey Women's Goaltender of the Week for helping Dartmouth to a 2-0-1 mark against Yale, Colgate and Cornell.
The Pittsburgh, Pa., native stopped 78 of 82 shots in the three games, including 15 in a 4-2 win against the visiting Bulldogs Tuesday night in Hanover.
The third-year netminder followed that performance by making 29 saves in the Green and White's 3-2 victory on the road at Colgate on Friday.
Holdcroft saved her best for last, stopping 34 shots against the No. 4 Big Red as the two teams skated to a 0-0 tie. The shutout was Holdroft's fourth this season and the 12th of her career.
All four of her shutouts in 2012-13 have come in conference play, while snapping Cornell's streak of 108 straight games with a goal scored in the process.
This is the first time this season Holdcroft has earned the honor and the third time in her career.
Alena Polenska from Brown earned Player of the Week, while Yale's Kate Martini was tabbed the Rookie of the Week.
Holdcroft and the rest of the Big Green return to the ice Feb. 22-23 as they welcome Clarkson and St. Lawrence for the final weekend series of the regular season.
