Lightweight Crew Alum Anthony Fahden Headed to Olympics

LUZERN, Switzerland - Dartmouth lightweight rowing alum, Anthony Fahden punched his ticket to the 2012 Olympic games as a member of the US Lightweight Four after winning the finals in the 2012 Olympic Qualification Regatta in Switzerland on Tuesday (May 22).

Fahden will be joined in the four by three former Ivy League rowers. Harvard's Will Newell, Columbia's Nick La Cava and Robin Prendes will join Fahden.

Fahden '08 has spent time on the U.S. Under-23 Team and also on the 2009 USRowing Senior National Team, representing the U.S. at the 2009 World Rowing Championships.

Fahden led Dartmouth's varsity eight to the 2007 EARC Eastern Sprints title and earned All-Ivy League honors.
