Q & A with Ian Kennedy

Why Dartmouth?
I visited Dartmouth the summer before my senior year of high school. The natural beauty and the focus on the undergraduate program sparked my interest and led to me coming here.

How long have I been rowing?
I walked on to the team this year as a freshman. My mother ('86) was a rower and a coxswain here, and told me that I had the perfect physical build for the sport. I was initially unsure of the whole thing, but when my roommate Matt Marcus suggested I come down to try out last fall, I did, and have stuck with the sport ever since.

Have I won any awards?
Not yet!

Something interesting?

When I was in middle school I wrote a book/novel.
