Q and A with Max

Why Dartmouth?

Visiting campus for the first time, I was amazed at how beautiful it was. Being able to row on the scenic Connecticut River regularly is awesome. In addition to its natural beauty, the D-Plan, small size of the school, and warmth of the community made Dartmouth irresistible.

How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?

I was never very successful at or engaged in the standard junior league sports in my town, so, in 8th Grade, I started rowing as a way to try something new and stay in shape. I immediately became addicted to the sport.

What is something about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates?

I was in my middle school's production of High School Musical.

What other activities are you involved in at Dartmouth?

I haven't had a chance to go on many trips yet, but I am very excited to explore the surrounding area with Cabin and Trail and the other DOC clubs.

What are your future plans, if any?

Right now my plans are to keep working hard at rowing and school, and to try to have some fun along the way.
