Q&A with Jamie Yang
Why not? As with all important decisions in my life, I try to think about them as little as possible.
How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?
I have been rowing for about 0 years. I chanced upon rowing when one of my floormates convinced me to go to a meeting. The first few days on the water convinced me to stay on the team. Being able to row on the Connecticut River amidst the rugged Dartmouth wilderness fighting sharks and crabs, barely surviving, is an experience that makes me wonder why one wouldn't row.
What is something about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates?
As a walk on lightweight rower, I only ran cross country one year in high school.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
I am loosely involved in several clubs although my attendance is pretty abysmal. I like to go hiking whenever I can. I also like to leave a little bit of free time to do random stuff.
What are your future plans, if any?
I plan to lay down some time in the future to decide my future plans.
