Q and A with Colin

Why Dartmouth?

All of those corny admissions ads are based in reality, Dartmouth is just truly awesome in every regard. I cannot imagine being anywhere else.

How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?

I took my first stroke in the summer after my 7th grade, but did not start rowing until the fall of my freshman year of high school. I had the good
fortunate of having a local team, Pittsford Crew, that was (and still is) endowed with some of the best equipment available to any high school team,
including tanks that seat 32 people and use turbines to cycle the water. I "became interested" in rowing after my father made me sign up the team
because he rowed collegiately.

Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?

I have not won anything too recently, but I am confident that will change.

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.

I enjoy drinking coffee as much as John Lane.

What other activities do you participate in on campus?

I am a vice president for DSIE, the Dartmouth Society of Investments and Economics and I work for DDS.

What are your future plans, if any.

After graduating from Dartmouth, I intend to seek gainful employment.
