Q and A with Reilly

Where are you from and whom did you row for prior to Dartmouth?

I am from London, England.I rowed/sculled for my high school, the American School in London, which was part of Tideway Scullers School on the Thames.

Why did you choose Dartmouth and the Dartmouth Rowing Program?

I chose Dartmouth because I love the sense of family and community.I love that everyone is so outdoorsy as well.

What do you participate in at Dartmouth, apart from rowing?

I am the Vice President of the Class of 2013, and I am in the International Students Association.

Tell me something about yourself that might come as a surprise to your teammates.

Last summer, I broke my elbow while running in scuba flippers (I was nowhere near water...)Also, I am a huge telemark skier (everyone should try it!)

What is your best memory from rowing at Dartmouth so far?

Eastern Sprints this last year was a lot of fun, and it was great to watch the 1V do so well because there were so many excited athletes, parents, and alums all in one place.

What are your plans for the future?

Majoring in Neuroscience, but no idea after that!
