Q and A with Annie:
I knew that I wanted to come out East, so for me it was really just finding the right school to balance Academics and a great ski program. I felt that Dartmouth had both excellent academics and a phenomonal ski program (with fabulous people involved) so it was a pretty easy decision.
How long have you been skiing and what got you interested in skiing?
I have been seriously sking since 9th grade. I originally skied in 6th grade, but promptly quit. I ran cross country, and my coach told me I needed to do something active in the winter to stay in shape, so I decided to give skiing another try once I hit high school, and I (obviously) fell in love with it!
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
This isn't really a surprise to my teammate necessarily, but I really like muffins.
What are your future plans, if any?
So far my plan is just to get through college and see what happens after that.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
Nothing as of yet, but I think I'll probably rush, and maybe join a club once I am a little more adjusted to the college life.
