GALLOWAY, N.J. — Through two rounds of the Ivy League Women's Championship, Dartmouth is in seventh with a 693 (+125). The event is being played at the Seaview Golf Resort Bay Course in Galloway, N.J. The Big Green posted a 345 (+61) in the opening round on Friday at the par-71 6,011-yard course, and followed that with a 348 (+64) on Saturday. Harvard leads the tournament with a 640 (+72), Penn is in second at 643 (+75) and Yale sits in third at 644 (+76).
Bonnie Hu of Harvard leads the tournament at 8-over-par. She shot a 2-over-par 73 on Saturday after a 77 in round one. Isabel Han of Penn and Michelle Piyapattra of Colubia are three shots back and tied for second.
Freshman Jane Lee (North Shore City, New Zealand) carded an 82 (+11) in round two after an 81 (+10) on Friday. She is tied for 10th with Olivia Chang of Penn. Lee had nine pars in her second round, and posted the team's only birdie of the tournament so far on the par-5 18th. Senior Kathleen Quirk (Kathleen Quirk) is in 27th, following an 88 in round two. Freshman Savannah Grice (Atlanta, Ga.) is two shots back of Quirk in a tie for 28th with a 177 (+35).
Columbia is fourth in the team competition at 649 (+81), Brown is fifth with a 672 (+104) and Princeton is sixth at 693 (+125).
The championship concludes on Sunday with Dartmouth players going off in the first groups starting at 8 a.m.
