PRINCETON, N.J. — The Dartmouth women's golf team competed at the Princeton Invitational this past weekend and placed eighth with a team score of 936 at the 12 team event. Freshman Jane Lee (North Shore City, New Zealand) led the Big Green by finishing tied for 10th at 226. Harvard won the event at 906, Brown finished second at 910 and Columbia placed third at 915. 

The tournament took place at Springfield Golf Club with par on the course at 72. Lee's three-round total came after shooting a 74, a 76 and a 76. Lee was joined in the Dartmouth scoring by senior Heather Roland (Newtown Square, Pa.) who finished tied for 17th at 231.

The three other scorers for the Big Green were sophomore Sarah Knapp (Ponte Verda Beach, Fla.), senior Kathleen Quirk (Kansas City, Mo.) and senior Marietta Smith (Mount Prospect, Ill.). Knapp tied for 26th at 235, Quirk finished tied for 44th at 247 and Smith placed 51st at 254.

Tiffany Lim of Harvard had the lowest individual score at 213. Michelle Piyapattra of Columbia placed second at 219.

Dartmouth competes next weekend at the ECAC Championship in Twisted Dune, N.J.
