BEDMINSTER, N.J. – The Dartmouth women’s golf team carded an aggregate total of 329 in the second round of the Ivy League Championship on Saturday to remain in seventh place.
The Ivy League Championship is a three-day, 54-hole event contested at the 6,045 yard, par-72 Trump National Golf Club Bedminster's New Course.
Harvard shot a team total of 301 on the second day to hold a four stroke lead over Princeton heading into the final day of action. Yale, Penn and Columbia rounded out the top five.
Princeton’s Kelly Shon shot an even-par 72 in the second round to hold individual honors going into the final 18 holes.
The low scorer for the Big Green was junior Sarah Knapp. Knapp was the lone member of the team to shoot in the 70’s and she sits in 16th place.
Lily Morrison rounded out the field for the team from the Upper Valley with a second round 84.
Dartmouth wraps up the tournament and the spring season on Sunday, April 28.
