EGG HARBOR, N.J. — Junior Sarah Knapp earned a share of the individual title, and the women's golf team finished sixth overall at the ECAC Division I Women's Golf Championship this weekend at the Twisted Dune Golf Course in Egg Harbor, N.J. Dartmouth, last year's ECAC Champion, tallied a two-day team score of 647 to finish just outside the top five.

Knapp, who was tied for seventh after the opening day of competition with a day one score of 78 (+6), came back with a second round performance of 73 (+1) for a two-day total of 151. Finishing in a tie for second at last year's championship, Knapp will share this year's title with Olivia Chang of Penn.

Sophomore Jane Lee was the next-best Big Green finisher, shooting 73 on day two for a total score of 159 (T14th). Freshman Jessica Goldstein was tied for 27th (167), while classmate Lily Morrison (T34th; 172) and senior Emily Hyman (T38th; 174) rounded out the Dartmouth scoring.

Boston University is the 2012 ECAC Champion, tallying a team score of 631. Hartford (633), Sacred Heart (637), Penn (638) and Siena (642) also edged out the Big Green as the top five finishers.

Dartmouth is back in action next weekend, wrapping up their fall season at the Rutgers Invitational Oct. 5-6.
