HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth football team takes to the field on Wednesday at 10 a.m. to begin its preseason training schedule in preparation for the 2014 season. Preseason practice will give Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach Buddy Teevens another opportunity to evaluate his team — along with the influx of talent from the class of 2018 — after a competitive spring on the gridiron.

Picked third in the preseason poll by the Ivy League media, their highest ranking in the poll in 17 years, the Big Green will be led on the field by co-captains Stephen Dazzo (Sr., FS, 6-0, 225) and Sean Ronan (Sr., C, 6-2, 265). Dartmouth finished the 2013 campaign with a 5-2 record in conference play, just one game behind the co-champions, Harvard and Princeton.

Check back to DartmouthSports.com throughout the preseason schedule for interviews with Coach Teevens before the season gets under way under the lights on Sept. 20 at Memorial Field at 7 p.m. when Central Connecticut State comes to Hanover.
