HANOVER, N.H. — Sophomore Daniel Gorman reeled in 10 passes for 133 yards and three touchdowns and junior Cody Patch brought an interception back 70 yards for a touchdown early in the game and added a one-handed interception late to highlight a passing scrimmage between the junior varsity squads from Dartmouth and Vermont’s Norwich University.

Freshman Joseph Cook had nine catches for 101 yards and a touchdown for the Big Green in a non-tackling contest where every drive started on a team’s own 35 unless it turned the ball over on downs or via a turnover elsewhere on the field. There were no punts or placements.

Sophomores Thomas Militello and Ernest Evans split time evenly under center for Dartmouth with Militello going 30-for-33 for 307 yards and four TDs and Evans 20-of-45  for 296 yards and three touchdowns. Both QBs had one interception.

Peter Eggert, a freshman tight end, caught a 65-yard scoring pass. Also enjoying a big day was fellow tight end Jvonte Brooks, who had six catches for 76 yards and a touchdown.

With no pass rush, the teams combined for 1,168 passing yards.

Dartmouth led at the half, 24-12. The scoreboard was wiped clean at the half and Dartmouth took the second half as well, 24-18.
