Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Woodlands Credit Union Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.
Lucielle Kozlov, (Vancouver, British Columbia) Fr., F, Soccer
Lucielle Kozlov is a member of the Dartmouth women's soccer team's talented freshman class. She has played in all 11 games and has made three starts during her rookie campaign. She tallied her first collegiate goal in a 5-0 win over NJIT on Sept. 20 and has earned points in the last two games with a goal in Dartmouth's convincing 3-1 win over Yale (Oct. 6) and an assist in a 1-0 non-conference win over Brown (Oct. 9).
Alex Park guided a balanced offensive attack to help Dartmouth to its first victory over Yale since 2002, 34-14. The sophomore completed 15-of-27 passes on the day for 204 yards (his second straight 200-yard game) and the go-ahead touchdown in the middle of the third quarter. Twice this year he has completed at least 70 percent of his passes, the first Big Green quarterback to do so in two games in a season since 1983. Park is second in the league in passing efficiency and 23rd nationally. For the season, he has completed 64.5 percent of his passes (60-of-93) for 781 yards and four touchdowns with just two interceptions.
