The student-athletes will come from 17 different states and the District of Columbia, while nearly one-third of the group hails from football hotbeds in Florida (6) and Texas (4). Oklahoma is represented by three recruits, continuing the pipeline of talent from the Sooner State to Hanover, and California, Connecticut, Illinois and Washington will each send a pair of student-athletes to Dartmouth. Other states represented in the class are Colorado, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and New Hampshire as well with Daniel crossing the street from Hanover High to Memorial Field.
Dartmouth is coming off a 2011 campaign in which it went 5-5 overall and 4-3 in the Ivy League to tie for second place in the standings. The 2012 season will begin on Sept. 15 when the Big Green host Butler in a night game at Memorial Field at 7 p.m.
