First-team All-Ivy League on the defensive line ... started eight of the 10 games at end ... recorded 1.5 sacks in the win over Penn, and a half sack against Harvard ... had a season-high five tackles against the Quakers ... blocked a PAT in the season-opening 35-25 win over Central Connecticut ... batted down a pass at the line in the 38-31 triumph at Yale ... blocked another PAT attempt and broke up a pass versus the Crimson ... preseason honors: USA College Football FCS Preseason All-America Second Team and College Sports Madness Preseason All-Ivy First Team.

JUNIOR (2013)
Second-team All-Ivy on the defensive line ... earned the team’s Kenneth T. Young Award, which is given to the junior or sophomore defensive player who has contributed the most to the success of the team ... started all 10 games at end ... led the Big Green with six tackles for a loss, two of which were sacks ... also ranked third on the squad with six passes defended thanks to batting throws down at the line of scrimmage ... made a stop for a loss of seven yards at Penn, forcing the Quakers to attempt a 52-yard field goal attempt, which was missed, late in the fourth quarter of a tie game ... swatting a pass away during Yale’s last drive in a 20-13 homecoming victory over the Bulldogs ... had five tackles versus Bucknell, including a three-yard sack in the red zone to force the Bison to settle for a 32-yard field goal ... career-best six stops — three of which forced a fourth-down play — in the three-point loss at Harvard ... forced two more fourth downs on consecutive Cornell possessions early in the 34-6 victory over the Big Red ... set the tone against 19th-ranked Princeton with a 14-yard sack on third down on the Tigers’ first possession ... had two other tackles for a loss, plus broke up three passes, one which came on fourth down, another forced fourth down in the fourth quarter.

Played in each of the 10 games during the season and recorded at least one tackle in seven of them ... made three stops in road win at Holy Cross ... came up with big stop on Penn QB Billy Ragone on 3rd-and-1 in the fourth quarter, forcing Quakers to punt ... helped out on a tackle for a loss versus Sacred Heart ... sacked Harvard QB Colton Chapple late in third quarter as Dartmouth was trying to rally from 21-14 deficit ... had two other stops against the Crimson as well.

Spent the season honing his skills on the junior varsity squad ... made eight tackles in the final jayvee contest, a 21-12 victory over Bridgton Academy.

All-West Jersey selection as a senior at Newton ... chosen for New Jersey’s annual Paul Robeson East-West All-Star Football Classic ... led team in fumbles caused/recovered and tackles for loss despite missing more than half of his team’s games with a serious ankle injury ... medaled in the New Jersey state wrestling championships ... despite concentrating on lifting for football, he won North Jersey Group 3 javelin championships as a junior and senior and added a silver medal in the shot as a senior.
