AUSTIN, TEXAS  – Senior Nejc Zupan finished 13th in the 100 Breaststroke at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by the University of Texas.

Zupan began the day with an eighth-place tie in the prelims race, swimming a 52.44, tying Richard Funk of Michigan.

In the finals, the Dartmouth senior placed 13th out of 40 entries overall and fifth in the B Final. His finals time was 52.69. Arizona’s Kevin Cordes shattered four records  - NCAA, American, U.S. Open and Championship - with a 50.04 race time. 

On Thursday, Zupan was scratched from the 200 IM in preparation of the 100 Breaststroke and the 200 breaststroke which is set for Saturday morning.
