HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth swimming and diving assistant coach Jenn Verser picked up honorable mention Assistant Coach of the Year accolades it was announced by CollegeSwimming.com during the annual coaches convention.

Verser, who just completed her fifth year on the Big Green swimming and diving staff, has been instrumental in the rise of the Dartmouth program as well as the development and success of 2013 NCAA participant, Nejc Zupan (Kamnik, Slovenia).

The New Jersey native coaches the stroke group for Dartmouth and has helped the Big Green to back-to-back top five finishes at the Ivy League Championships and has helped Zupan to five Ivy League championships, including setting Ivy League meet records in the 200 and 400 IM and 200 breaststroke this season.

Additionally, under Verser’s guidance, Zupan became the first Dartmouth swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championships in 30 years, earning All-America status with his eighth-place finish in the 200 breaststroke.
