PRINCETON, N.J. - Fresh off his Swimmer of the Meet honor and his three Ivy League titles, junior Nejc Zupan (Kamnik, Slovenia) picked up first-team All-Ivy honors for the third consecutive season. Rookie James Verhagen (Randberg, South Africa) earned second-team accolades after taking runner-up honors in the backstroke events.

The Big Green's 400-medley relay also earned second team All-Ivy honors. The quartet of Verhagen, Zupan, Zack Doherty (Pelham, N.Y.) and Will Derdeyn (St. Louis, Mo.) took second-place honors at the Ivy Championships, setting a school record.

Zupan, who has won six Ivy League titles, including three at the 2013 Ivy League Championships, has earned first-team honors in each of his three seasons while Verhagen is earning league honors for the first time in his career.  Zupan also became the first Dartmouth swimmer to earn Swimmer of the Meet honors by accumulating the most points of any swimmer at the annual championship.

Dartmouth's relay recognition is also the first time a Dartmouth relay has earned All-Ivy honors.

The top finishers in each individual event and the top team in each relay race earned first-team All-Ivy honors, while the second place finishers earned second-team All-Ivy honors.

The Phil Moriarty Swimmer of the Meet, the Harold Ulen Career High Point Swimmer, Karl B. Michael High Point Diver of the Meet and Ron Keenhold Career High Point Diver are determined from points accumulated at the championship.

Zupan will represent Dartmouth at the 2013 NCAA Championships. The national meet will be held March 28-30 in Indianapolis, Ind.
