The third varsity eights raced next, with the Terriers (5:26.22) beating the Big Green (5:27.96) by six seats.

In the second varsity, the Big Green (5:26.92) established an early lead and rowed to an open water victory over the Terriers (5:31.81). In the varsity eight, the Big Green overcame a deficit of seven seats in the first thousand to finish just over two seconds ahead of their counterparts from Boston University (5:22.96).
