I felt at home as soon as I stepped on campus. I appreciated the genuine happiness and sense of conviviality among the student body.
How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?
I started rowing as a freshman in high school because I wanted to try a new sport. I made the transition to coxing during my junior fall
upon coming to terms with my height.
Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?
Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, James O. Freedman Presidential Scholarship for research
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I played the violin for nine years, and was president of my high school’s Asian Culture Club. This may not actually come as a surprise my teammates, but they definitely don’t know.
What is your best memory from rowing at Dartmouth so far?
Watching the varsity win their heat at Sprints. Also, racing with the varsity to win the Packard Cup later that spring was incredible.
What are your future plans, if any.
I hope to become a pediatrician
