Why Dartmouth?

Dartmouth is where I've found the greatest sense of community, purpose, and tradition. The Connecticut is a beautiful river to row on, and the college's academics are of the highest caliber.

How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?

I've been rowing for about three years. I started when my high school coach told me that my height would make me a good rower. I've loved the sport ever since.

Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?

Won gold at the 2007 Canadian Henley Regatta in the junior 8+, received high school award for greatest contribution in rowing.

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.

I've broken both arms and gotten stitches twice. Also, I developed an appreciation for fish while eating piranha on a boat in the Amazon.

What are your future plans, if any.

I'm interested in the sciences, and I might end up applying to medical school. It's still in the works.
