PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior diver Katy Feng (Westford, Mass.) took home the 3-meter diving title with 306.25 points, good enough for an NCAA A consideration, in the final day of action at the 2013 Ivy League Championships. Her score helped lift the Big Green to a fifth place finish with 856 points, 141 points ahead of Penn.

Feng becomes the second Big Green diver to win an Ivy Championship in the last four years, joining senior Erica Serpico (Moorestown, N.J.) who took the 1-meter crown in 2010. Serpico took third place with a score of 288.25 ,also an NCAA A consideration. Feng earned the High Point Diver of the Meet honor for her efforts over the meet.  

Olivia Samson (Clifton Park, N.Y.) placed eighth in the 1650 free with a time of 16:41.62 to start the evening finals setting the tone for the session.

Kendese Nangle (Kingston, Jamaica) closed the meet with another NCAA B time, her third of the meet, in the 200 back. She swam a 1:58.28, another school record and earned 25 points towards the team total with her fifth-place finish. Rebecca Butler (West Orange, N.J.) earned runner-up honors in the C Final with a time of 2:02.62. 

Charlotte Kamai (Corte Madera, Calif.) continued her sprint freestyle dominance with a runner-up finish in the 100 free with a time of 50.57. Sasha Alcon (Fremont, Calif.) took 14th with a time of 51.14.

To cap the meet, the Big Green set a new school record in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:21.14, two seconds faster than the old record set back in 2009. Nangle, Mary Van Metre (Edina, Minn.), Siobhan Hengemuhle (Boulder, Colo.) and Kamai teamed for the final event of the meet. Nangle also set a new school record in the 100 free with a 50.22 in the leadoff of the relay.

Charlotte Williams (Boca Raton, Fla.) owned the C Final in the 200 breast with a time of 2:19.08, two seconds off a new school record. In the 200 fly, the Big Green had great swims. Dartmouth placed three in the B Final and took places 12-14 led by Kendall Farnham (Severna Park, Md.) with a time of 2:02.82

Nangle opened the final day of preliminary competition with a school record in the 200 back. The freshman touched the wall with a time of 1:57.68, which was also a NCAA B Time, her second of the meet. Her time also seeded her second for the evening finals.

The Big Green were well represented in the 100 free with Kamai taking ninth in the prelims with a time of 50.49, earning her  a spot in the B Final. Alcon, Natalia Vecerek (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) and Van Metre also qualified for the evening finals.

Fresh off her school record in the 100 breaststroke, Williams swam a 2:20.66, which qualified her for the C Final. In the 200 fly, Danielle Kerr  led the Big Green squad placing 12th with a time of 2:02.25. Valerie Orellana (Arleta, Calif.) and Kendall Farnham (Severna Park, Md.) also reached the finals with 15th and 16th-place finishes.

Dartmouth concludes the 2013 Ivy League Championships with 16 new school records and a fifth place finish for the second consecutive season. In total, the Big Green set 14 of 19 possible records over the weekend.
