HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women’s swimming and diving team will compete at the 2014 Ivy League Championship this weekend, hosted by Brown.

The Big Green will be represented by 17 swimmers and three divers; including the top-ranked 200-Free Relay squad.

Charlotte Kamai leads Dartmouth with eight race entries and will be the anchor for the 200-Free Relay. Kamai will also race in the 50-Free and four other team relay events.

Kendese Nangle is poised to medal with seven opportunities and will leadoff the 200-Free Relay. Nangle will also race in the 50-Free, 100-Back, two Medley Relay’s and the 400-Free Relay.  

Mary Van Metre will participate in six events and is also slated to swim the second-leg of the 200-Free Relay. Just like Kamai, Van Metre will compete in the 50-Free and 200-Free.

Siobhan Hengemuhle will race in five events and is the final competitor in the 200-Free Relay. Hengemuhle will compete in freestyle races only for the Big Green.

Three swimmers will compete in five races for Dartmouth. Danielle Kerr will be a part of the long-distance freestyle squad, Heather Laedtke in breaststroke events and Emily Holt swimming fly.   

Olivia Samson joins D. Kerr in the long-distance events, as will Christine Kerr and Cristiana Salvatori.

On the boards, Katy Feng is the defending Ivy Diver of the Year, but struggled this season with injuries and will compete in both the one and three meter competition. Kendall MacRae and Fiona Weeks will also dive in both events.
