HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's cross country team will have a look at the course it would like to see its season end at when it runs this weekend in Terre Haute, Ind., at the Pre National Invitational. The team will take to the same 8K course on Sunday that is used for the NCAA Championships in November.

Last weekend at the New England Championships, the Big Green had a different look as the team's 'second seven' raced to a second-place finish in a field of 43 teams. Led by sophomore Henry Sterling's (South Freeport, Maine) 10th-place finish in 25:01, Dartmouth posted 192 team points.

Now, the Big Green will turn their attention to the annual Pre National Invitational hosted by Indiana State on the LeVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center on Sunday.

The seven runners making up Dartmouth's contingent in the race are: sophomores John Bleday (Westwood, Mass.) and Steve Mangan (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.), juniors Adam Doherty (Lagrangeville, N.Y.), John Gault (Bedford, Mass.) and Phil Royer (Portsmouth, R.I.), and seniors Brad Kenimer (Alexandria, Va.) and Ethan Shaw (Falmouth, Maine)

Entering the weekend in Indiana, Dartmouth currently ranks sixth in the Northeast Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Sunday's men's 8K race is set to begin at 11 a.m.
