HANOVER, N.H. – As the season begins to heat up for the Dartmouth men’s tennis team on the court, the incoming Class of 2018 has received national recognition.

The trio, who have all turned in their intent-to-enroll cards, were ranked the No. 9 recruiting class in the country on Monday by TennisRecruiting.net. The top-10 accolade is the highest in program history for the Big Green.

The rankings released are in regards to strictly the winter term and another poll will be issued during the spring.

Dartmouth totaled 353 points in the poll, leaving them 17 points behind eighth-place California and 37 points ahead of No. 10 Vanderbilt. The Big Green were the first of five Ancient Eight teams on the list as Harvard (13), Penn (20), Princeton (21) and Columbia (24) were all in the top-25 as well.

The Green and White are coming off the longest hiatus of any program in the rankings. Dartmouth last appeared at No. 14 in the polls inaugural recruiting class rankings back in 2006.
