NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Dartmouth men’s tennis played well at the Northeast Regionals on Saturday picking up a trio of wins in singles action and a quartet of victories in singles play.
The Big Green had another strong showing, going a perfect, 3-0, in doubles action. The duo of Chris Kipouras and Diego Pedraza upset the No. 3 seeded team from St. John’s, 8-7. Brendan Tannenbaum and Cameron Ghorbani topped a tandem from Princeton while Dovydas Sakinis and Brandon DeBot cruised to an 8-4 win.
In singles action, Kipouras won both his second third round match in straight sets. DeBot and Sakinis went 1-1 on the day, winning their second round matchups before falling in the third round to players from USMA and Harvard, respectively.
Dartmouth continues the event on Sunday, Oct. 20, competing in both singles and doubles action.
