Junior (2009-2010): Was team captain and an Academic All-Ivy selection ... played from the No. 3 spot to No. 5 throughout the season ... teamed up with Stephen Greif as the No. 2 doubles team for the Big Green ... posted a 13-10 record in singles action and an 11-9 mark in dual matches ... best record came at the fourth spot with a 7-4 mark ... the team of Roby and Greif had the second-most doubles wins on the team with 11 and had only four losses on the year ... they were a perfect 3-0 at the top spot ... started the dual season in singles with three straight wins ... traded wins and losses throughout the indoor season ... won four of his last five with all of the wins coming in Ivy play ... had a 4-3 singles Ivy record ... also had a 4-3 in doubles action ... had a season-long five-match win streak with Greif from Feb. 12 to March 19 ... fell to teammate Dan Freeman in the finals of the A Flight at the Dartmouth Invitational ... named Dartmouth Athlete of the Week on April 22 ... helped Chuck Kinyon retire with a win over Brown in the home season finale.

Sophomore (2008-09): Had the best singles record on the team and received the Most Valuable Player Award … posted a 16-12 overall singles record including an 11-10 dual match total playing at No. 2 and No. 3 … for the second straight year, took home the Dartmouth Shootout C Flight singles title … won the Big Green Invitational A Doubles and finished the Ivies with a winning record at No. 2 doubles pairing with senior Ari Gayer … named co-captain for the 2009-10 campaign … ITA Scholar Athlete.

Freshman (2007-08): Had the second best overall record on the team at 14-8 in both singles and doubles playing positions 4, 5 and 6 singles, and mostly 3 doubles ... posted a record of 9-4 with David Fink and 4-1 with Ari Gayer ... in dual match action he finished the year at 11-7 in singles and 10-8 in doubles ... took home the Dartmouth Shootout C Division singles title and B Doubles title with Fink ... played singles and doubles at ECACs.

Before Dartmouth: No. 49 recruit in the nation according to and as high as No. 2 in the Eastern Section by the USTA in 2007... Two-time winner of the USTA Boys'18 Eastern Designated Closed Championship in 2007... Recipient of a USTA Boys'18 Sportsmanship Award ... 2007 New York Junior Tennis League Mayor's Cup champion and recipient of Kyle Byrton Memorial Award ... New York City All-Star in 2007... Three-time All-Ivy first teamer in high school and team captain in junior/senior year... Recipient of 2007 Trinity School Alumni Award for Tennis ... National Merit Scholarship finalist.

Personal: Curtis Olavi Roby was born on March 18, 1989 ... son of Joe and Hilppa Roby ... cousins, Alex and Bradley Roby, both played collegiate tennis ... Alex played at Bradley University, while Bradley competed at Dayton.
