HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's tennis fell to visiting Purdue, 4-3, in the finale of the Dartmouth Kickoff Classic on Saturday evening inside the Boss Tennis Center and Gordon Pavilion.

The Big Green dropped their second straight falling to 0-2, while the Boilermakers won their fifth straight to remain a perfect 5-0.

This weekend, the Big Green and their opponents are abandoning any matches still on court once the doubles point and match have been decided.

In doubles action, the Green and White secured a point as Xander Centenari and Brandon DeBot won their match, 8-2, at the No. 3.

Centenari also won his singles match in straight sets defeating Mark Kovacs, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 2 singles. Chris Kipouras scored a point for the team for the Upper Valley topping Diego Acosta, 6-3, 7-5 at No. 3 singles.

Justin Chan won the third and final point for the Big Green winning his match at No. 6 singles in straight sets.

Dartmouth returns to action on Feb. 1, when it hosts Old Dominion.
