LITCHFIELD PARK, ARIZ. — Senior Peter Williamson (Hanover, N.H.) birdied three of his final 11 holes to finish in a tie for 13th at the Patriot All-America Invitational on Friday. He finished the round with a one-under-par 70 for a three-day total of 213 (E).

Cory Whitsett closed with a five-under-par 66 to win the inaugural Patriot All-America Invitational on the Gold Course at The Wigwam in Litchfield Park, Ariz. Whitsett’s three-round total of 14-under (199) was three strokes better than his college roommate at Alabama Bobby Wyatt.

Williamson started the day at one-over and stumbled early in the round with a bogey on the par-3 third. The Hanover native responded with a birdie on the par-4 eighth, which started a run of three birdies in five holes. The senior bogeyed the 15th to fall back to even-par for the tournament and a tie for 13th.
