LITCHFIELD PARK, ARIZ. — Dartmouth senior golfer Peter Williamson (Hanover, N.H.) fell one spot into a tie for 20th after shooting an even-par 71 in round two of the Patriot All-America Invitational on Thursday. He has a two-day total of one-over-par (143), and is 10 shots off the lead of Cory Whitsett of Alabama.

Whitsett shot a tournament-best 7-under-par 64 to move into a two-shot lead on the Gold Course at The Wigwam in Litchfield Park, Ariz. Whitsett’s 9-under 133 is two shots better than his college roommate at Alabama Bobby Wyatt.

Williamson birdied his first hole of the day on the par-5 first, before bogeying the fifth and 14th. He returned to even-par for the round by carding a birdie on the par-3 16. The Hanover native's 71 followed a 1-over-par 72 on the first day of the tournament.

The senior begins his final round in the 82-player field on Friday at 10:30 a.m. local time.
