HANOVER, N.H - Dartmouth men’s golf head coach Rich Parker has announced the recruits preparing to join the Big Green. Jeffrey Lang, Sean Fahey and Scott Jaster are the newest members of the team.

Jaster and Fahey come to Hanover from Pennsylvania while Lang makes his way to the Upper Valley from Massachusetts. The trio join a Dartmouth squad fresh off a fifth-place finish at the Ivy League Championship. During the 2012-13 season, the Big Green notched four top-five finishes, the highlight of which was taking second place during Ivy League Match Play.

Lang, a native of Lexington, Mass., makes the trek up North after starring on the links for the Lexington High School golf team. A two-year captain, Lang was recently named an American Junior Golf Association Hewlett-Packard All-American. During his senior season, he was the Middlesex League MVP while earning Boston Globe All-Scholastic honors.

Jaster competed for the Haverford School varsity golf team for the past four years where he was named a captain the past two seasons. During three of his four years he led the team to Interac (Inter Academic Athletic Association of Philadelphia) League Championships. In 2012-13, he was the No. 1 golfer in Interac while leading the squad to the Pennsylvania Private School State Championship. He received first team All-Interac recognition four times, was an HP Scholastic Junior Golf All-American during his senior season and, this past year, qualified for the U.S. Amateur.

Like his Class of 2017 teammates, Fahey was a member of the varsity golf team for four years and was a two-time captain. In 2011-12, he led his Episcopal Academy team to a third-place finish at the Pennsylvania Independent School Athletic Association (PAISAA) State Championship. Recently, he qualified for the 2013 U.S. Amateur and finished third in the 2013 Pennsylvania Junior Championship. He was named first team All-Interac four times and during his senior season earned first-team All-PAISAA honors.

Dartmouth opens the 2013 fall campaign in Lewisburg, Pa., at the Bucknell Invitational Sept. 14-15.
