FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — After round one of the McLaughlin at The Red course in Farmingdale, N.Y., the Dartmouth men's golf team sits in 10th place with 292 strokes. Due to darkness, the second round of action could not be completed and will resume Sunday morning.

After the first round, the Big Green sit 13 strokes back of leader Auburn, who shot 279. Ivy League foes Harvard (T2nd; 285), Princeton (T11th; 293) and Columbia (14th; 294) are also competing.

Freshman Charlie Cai leads all Dartmouth players, sitting in a tie for 15th overall with a score of 71. Senior James Pleat and junior Joey Maziar are tied for 31st overall, each shooting 73 for the round.

The McLaughlin wraps up Sunday, Sept. 16, with Dartmouth teeing off at 7:30 a.m. Complete results will be posted at the conclusion of the tournament.
