Ross Lannan enters his third season with the Dartmouth men's and women's swimming and diving programs in 2014-15.

At the Ivy League Championships in 2013-14, Lannan helped lead the men's team to a sixth place finish and the women to an eighth place finish. Senior Nejc Zupan received the Harold Ulen Career High Point Swimmer Award after compiling 361 points during his four years at Dartmouth. Zupan went on to represent the Big Green at the NCAA Division I Championships, finishing 13th in the 100 breast.

Lannan helped the Big Green squads to a pair of top-finishes at the Ivy League Championships during his first season with the Big Green. With Lannan’s help, the Big Green set numerous school records and had student-athletes Zupan and Katy Feng earn individual Ivy League titles.

Prior to Dartmouth, Lannan spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Bryant University. Lannan helped the Bulldogs set numerous school records and helped the squad transition to Division I.  He also mentored three-time NEC Swimmer of the Meet Casey Ostrander on the women's team.

Lannan was one of 10 participants selected to participate in the America Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Fellowship from Sept. 2010-Sept. 2011. Lannan's research was focused on "Coaching Boys" and was presented at the ASCA World Clinic in Las Vegas.

A four-year letterwinner at Pittsburgh, Lannan was a finalist at the BIG EAST Championship in the 100 and 200 backstroke events and qualified for the USA Swimming Grand Prix in 2006.
