Chris Kipouras of the men's tennis team and Kristen Rumley for softball traveled the country representing the Big Green this spring and leading their respective teams. The men's tennis team traveled to California where freshman Kipouras had 3 singles wins for the Big Green. Also a freshman, Rumley pitches for the softball team but this past weekend showcased her hitting ability, going 5-for-5 against Stetson.

(San Ramon, Calif.),Fr., Men's Tennis
The men's tennis team went to California for its spring break trip and came back to Hanover with three victories. Freshman Chris Kipouras (San Ramon, Calif.) went 3-0 in singles in the matches to help improve the Big Green to 13-1 overall, which is one of the best starts in the history of the program. In singles, Kipouras is 12-1 during the dual-match season after finishing 10-3 in the fall tournament season. He has played primarily at third and fourth singles.
(Katy, Texas) Fr., P, Softball
Freshman pitcher Kristen Rumley continues her impressive rookie campaign in 2012. The Katy, Texas, native has shown versatility both in the circle for the Big Green and at the plate. This past weekend, she earned her first career at bats in Dartmouth's doubleheader win over Stetson and went 5-of-5 from the plate while pitching the Big Green to a 6-1 win in the second game. For the season, she's pitched 41.0 innings and has thrown a team-best 49 strikeouts and has a 3-3 record. She leads the team from the plate, batting .474 in 10 appearances this season.
