Freshman (2013-14): At his first collegiate meet, he placed 10th in the 200 free (1:47.23) and 11th in the 100 free (49.01) against Harvard and Cornell … at the Big Al Invitational, he was 23rd in the 100 fly (51.88), 30th in the 200 free (1:43.35) and 100 free (47.74) and tied for 17th in the 200 fly (1:52.86) … at the Dartmouth Invitational, he was fourth in the 200 IM (1:56.57), 11th in the 100 fly (53.49), 15th in the 100 free (49.16) and fourth in the 200 fly (1:56.55).

Before Dartmouth: Four-year letterwinner at Montgomery Bell Academy ... team captain as a senior... led his team to the Tennessee State Swimming Championship and received two first place team finishes ... placed fourth in the State Meet in the 100 fly and fifth in the 200 free ... member of the 4x100 relay team that won four consecutive first-place titles in the State Championships ... received four All-State Honors ...
