PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth men’s track & field team concluded the weekend with the second day of competition at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton at Weaver Track & Field Stadium.
In the elite section of the 1500m, Silas Talbot ran a 3:47.35 to claim fifth in a field of 60 top collegiate runners form across the region. In another section of the same event, Luke Decker took home fourth in 3:56.98.
In the 5000m, Phil Royer was fifth in 14:09.94, finishing amongst the leaders in a tightly congested group of runners at the top of the standings.
In the 3000m steeplechase, Henry Sterling was seventh with a finishing time of 9:04.70.
Members of the team will split time next weekend between the Penn Relays in Philadelphia and at the UMass Invitational in Amherst.
