PRINCETON, N.J. - On the final day of the 2012 IC4A Championships at Princeton's Weaver Stadium, two members of the Dartmouth men's track & field team picked up points to help the Big Green finish the weekend with 15 total points.
Sophomore Lukas Zirngibl (Middletown, N.J.) picked up five points with a fourth-place showing in the finals of the 800 meters. Zirngibl ran a 1:52.15, just back of the first three runners ahead of him.
Junior sprinter Connor Reilly (Niskayuna, N.Y.) placed seventh in the finals of the 100 meters, earning two points in process. Reilly earned those two points with a 10.73 (+0.7) in the final heat of the weekend after qualifying second on Saturday.
The Big Green will now wait to see who will move on to the NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville in two weeks. Individuals will find out if they're headed to the Sunshine State when performance lists are released in the coming days.
