PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Dartmouth men’s track & field team spent its Saturday at the Brown Invitational at the Bears’ home stadium. Several first-place finishes highlighted the day for the Big Green at the non-scoring meet.

Jalil Bishop won the 400 meters in 49.21, while Edward Wagner took the top spot in 400-meter hurdles, crossing in 53.31.

Silas Talbot was the winner of the 800 meters in 1:52.81 and Thomas Servino claimed first in the hammer throw with a toss of 184-3.0/56.17m.

Senior Connor Reilly also posted a strong showing on this day, taking second in both the 100m (10.66) and 200m (22.01).
Jeremy Thibodeau took second in the long jump with a measured 21-9.0/6.63m with Kevin Crowley taking second (21-8.25/6.61m). Sam Yoder was third in the high jump, clearing 6-2.75/1.90m, with Jeremy Birck attaining the same height but taking more attempts than Yoder.

The relay teams also enjoyed some success on this afternoon at Brown, posting the fastest times of the year in both the 4x100m (41.88) and the 4x400m (3:18.64).

Dartmouth is back in action next weekend with three events at Mt. Sac in California, the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton and the Middlebury Invite. All three meets are between Thursday and Saturday.
