CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The final day of the 2013 Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championship saw the Cornell men edge out Princeton by one point for the team title, 157-156, in a thrilling meet that came down to the final event.

For the Dartmouth men's team, the final day of competition at Harvard's Gordon Track was slightly more challenging as it finished sixth with 38.50 points.

The Big Green's best showing on Sunday came from its distance medley relay team in the late stages of the afternoon. The DMR claimed second in 9:53.57, finishing less than a second behind Princeton (9:52.72).

Running in the DMR for the Green and White on Sunday were Henry Sterling, Edward Wagner, Lukas Zirngibl and John Bleday.

Junior Will Geoghegan ran to a third-place showing in the mile, crossing in 4:22.03 for six points in an extremely tight race.

Wagner, a freshman, also earned points for the Big Green as he was fifth in the 400 meters. His time 49.11 earned two points in the standings as well as qualified him for IC4As next weekend.

In the weight throw, junior Dom Filiano first attempt of the day stood up as his best. His measured toss of 52-4.0/15.95m earned him a sixth-place finish and one point towards the team total.

A disappointing end of the season for senior Connor Reilly in the finals of the 60m as he false started and was unable to compete in the field.
