BOSTON, MASS. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed at the Terrier Invitational on Saturday and had multiple runners finish in the top five and qualify for IC4A's.

The Big Green saw the most success in the mid-distance and distance events. In the 800, Dartmouth had three runners qualify for IC4A's and finish in the top ten. Sophomore Anthony Romaniw (Hamilton, Ont.) finished second at 1:50.29, freshman Joseph Woiwode (Rockville, Md.) placed fourth at 1:52.26 and junior John Turro (Katonah, N.Y.) took ninth at 1:53.80. In the mile, the Big Green had two IC4A's qualifiers. Senior Tom Robbins (Evanston, Ill.) finished ninth at 4:09.61, and Corey DeWitt (Ellsworth, Maine) qualified at 4:14.04.

In the 3000 meters, junior Brad Kenimer (Alexandria, Va.) qualified for the IC4A's at 8:18.26. The Big Green had four runners qualify for the IC4A's in the 5000 meters, including two in the top three. Sophomore Phil Royer (Portsmouth, R.I.) won the race at 14:07.48, junior Ethan Shaw (Falmouth, Maine) took third at 14:18.10, sophomore Adam Doherty (Lagrangeville, N.Y.) finished ninth at 14:25.76 and sophomore Jonathan Gault (Bedford, Mass.) qualified with a time of 14:35.20.

Sophomore Connor Reilly (Niskayuna, N.Y.) took second in the 60-meter dash with an IC4A-qualifying time of 6.93. In the 200-meter dash, freshman Jalil Bishop (Twinsburg, Ohio) had a qualifying time of 22.03. The Dartmouth 4x400 relay team took seventh place and earned at spot at the IC4A's with a time of 3:19.31. The quartet consisted of junior Evan Bryant (Baltimore, Md.), senior Tyler Ford (Penfield, N.Y.), Bishop and sophomore Brendin Beaulieu-Jones (Vernon, Conn.).

In the long jump, freshman Jeremy Thibodeau (Rigaud, Ont.) took second with a mark of 6.82 meters (22-04.50 feet). In the weight throw, senior David Irving (Manchester, N.H.) took second with an IC4A-qualifying mark of 18.32 meters (62-04.00 feet).

The Big Green next host the Dartmouth Classic on Feb. 5.
