Q & A with Henry

Why Dartmouth?

I chose Dartmouth because when I visited I saw that students were happy and everyone seemed to really love Dartmouth. I was also interested in a school with a histoy of excellent academics and athletics.

How long have you been running cross country and what got you interested in cross country?

This is my first year running cross country. Throughout high school I played soccer but ran outdoor track for four years and indoor track for two. I got interested in track my freshman year because I always knew that I was a pretty good runner and I wanted to try and become more serious about the sport. I'm excited to be running cross this fall because it is very new and different to me.

Have you won any academic or cross country awards recently?

My senior year in high school I was named to the All Academic team for Soccer, Indoor and Outdoor track.

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.

I am scuba certified and I know how to play the guitar and piano.

What are your future plans, if any?

I would love to work with people in the future and I'm thinking about majoring in sociology with a minor in education.
