Sunday, Sept. 22 – Maine (Burnham Field), 1:00 p.m.

This Weekend
The Dartmouth women’s soccer team will split time this weekend between home and the road. A trip down to Big East member St. John’s will begin the weekend for the Big Green before completing week three against neighboring Maine on Sunday at 1 pm.

Do You Even Remember 1995?
The last time Dartmouth met St. John’s was on September 24, 1995 at an in-season tournament at Long Island. Neither side prevailed in the 1-1 tie.  Friday’s meeting will be the first contest set at either team’s home field.

Storm’s A-Brewin’
In his 20th-year guiding the Red Storm, Ian Stone has his team competing at a high level. Sitting at 6-1, St. John’s began the season on a six-game winning streak, before having it snapped against Ohio State 1-0 last week.  Sophomore Rachel Daly has scored 11 goals for 24 points through seven games, including a hat trick over Fordham.  Diana Poulin is 6-1 in goal with a 0.30 goals against average.

Maniacs Sunday
Maine makes the cross-state trip to Hanover with a 3-2-2 record on the season. The Black Bears will take on Northeastern Friday evening before coming across the state line into New Hampshire.  Maine won its first three games of the season before going winless in its next three.  The Black Bears then tied Richmond 0-0 in the final game of the VCU Tournament. Eve L’Abbe and Camille Varin-Tremblay each have four points to lead the team.  Lauren Swant has played in all seven games in net with a 0.67 GAA and a .865 save percentage.

Ivy League Digital Network
Dartmouth Athletics, in partnership with NeuLion, announced the upcoming launch of its brand new channel on the first-ever Ivy League Digital Network, featuring enhanced live video streaming of home games and extensive coverage of Big Green road contests against Ivy League foes.

Starting with the 2013-14 season, the completely redesigned Dartmouth channel — known as Big Green Insider — will include an easy-to-navigate interface with a league-wide network schedule and new interactive features that showcase the expanded content offerings available on computer, mobile and tablet devices, all without the use of an app.

What’s ahead?
Dartmouth will remain home and take on newly minted Division I member UMass Lowell on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7 pm. The Big Green will begin Ivy League play on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 1 pm against Brown.
