PRINCETON N.J. - Dartmouth freshman forward Corey Delaney (Chatham, N.J.) shared Ivy League women's soccer Rookie of the Week honors after picking up her first career goal against Fordham (Sept. 16).  Delaney shares the honor with Erin Mikolai from Penn.

Delaney's Ivy League recognition marks the second consecutive week a Big Green player has earned Ivy League honors. Last week, Emma Brush (Grosse Pointe Park, Mich.) was Ivy League Player of the Week.

Delaney, who has started each game of her collegiate career, picked up her first collegiate goal in Dartmouth's 3-0 win over Fordham on Sunday. The goal was also the game-winner.  The freshman forward now has four points on the season after adding two assists in Dartmouth's 3-1 win at Maine on Sept. 7.

One of three freshman who have started each game this season, Delaney is tied for third on the team in points (4) and shots (9) and is second on the team in assists with two helpers this season.

The Big Green welcome New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) to Burnham Field on Thursday (Sept. 20) at 5 p.m. before opening Ivy League action against Brown on Sunday (Sept. 23). Sunday's game is a scheduled 1 p.m. kickoff in Hanover.
